ION: Advancing Women in the Boardroom

The FWA is also a member of ION. ION was formed in 2004 and the InterOrganizationNetwork (ION) consists of 16 regional organizations in the United States, representing more than 10,000 women in business across a wide range of industries. Through ION, these women combine their energies in advocating the advancement of women to positions of power in the business world, especially to boards of directors and executive suites.

New York Women's Agenda

The New York Women’s Agenda is a powerful coalition of diverse women’s organizations which was founded in 1992 by the late NYC icon Elinor Guggenheimer. The NYWA’s purpose is to bring together women’s organizations under one umbrella, to speak in one voice, to raise awareness in political, economic and cultural circles, and to improve the lives of women and their families.
